ANM Group gets ‘close’ to asset finance option at Thainstone

North-East farming co-operative, the ANM Group, is today announcing that Close Brothers Asset Finance is now open for business at its agri-hub at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie – delivering an asset finance option to support Scottish farmers and its customers.
Established in 1987, Close Brothers Asset Finance (CBAF) has more than 20 years’ experience as a market leader specialising in providing flexible finance across a variety of sectors, nationwide.
The move will see CBAF expand their presence in the North-East agricultural community offering funding solutions to purchase new assets; fund business growth; improve cash flow; and/or complement existing funding arrangements.   The company provides funding for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, typically for assets such as vehicles; agricultural equipment; contractors’ plant; precision engineering and woodworking equipment; forklift trucks; and printing equipment as well as ‘soft assets’ such as shop fittings and catering equipment - a unique offering in the marketplace.
Grant Rogerson, Executive Director at ANM Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Close Brothers to Thainstone.  With the assistance of companies such as CBAF and our other tenants such as Clydesdale Bank, competitive finance packages can be offered to ANM Group members and our customers.  The services on offer from CBAF fit perfectly with our ‘one-stop shop’ plan for the Centre and will drive additional traffic to the hub.”
Colin Swanston, Managing Director of CBAF, said: “The location of this new base is ideal for us to engage with the agricultural community and the thousands of visitors to Thainstone Centre.  Our Aberdeen team look forward to providing specialist agricultural finance advice and working with the farming community to assist with investment and growth plans in the region.”
CBAF’s new Aberdeen base is situated on the ground floor (Concourse area) of Thainstone Centre and will be open on sale days and available for meetings and appointments.  The team can be contacted at 01467 623823 or visit
