With over 50 years’ experience of machinery sales, we’re the largest independent specialists in Scotland. Our renowned and ever-popular collective equipment sales include light and heavy commercial vehicles, 4x4s, excavators, tractors, telescopic handlers, agricultural machinery and equipment, builders’ equipment and supplies, engineering and horticultural equipment and hand tools.

We also conduct offsite auctions for administrators, liquidators, restructuring, downsizing and retiring businesses…etc.

Auction breakdown

The Thainstone Online Collective Sale is split into sections with a Timed Online Auction of Builders and Industrial Equipment opening the Friday before the live sale and closing the following Tuesday.

A Live Online Sale is held monthly on a Wednesday with the first section of the auction commencing from 9am. This live auction is categorised into the following areas:

  • Plant, Agricultural and Commercial Vehicles and Heavy Commercials
  • Farm & Agricultural Machinery & Equipment and Livestock Requisites
  • Plant & Car Trailers followed by Caravans, Livestock Trailers, Containers and Lorry Bodies

Something to sell?

Goods are accepted for the sale from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 4pm week prior to the auction and entry forms can be located here.

Collection

Items purchased at any of our sales can be collected from the premises after the sale is complete.

After any of our monthly sale collection can be made from Thursday 1pm – 4pm, Friday 9am – 4pm and Monday to Wednesday 9am – 4pm or to make alternative arrangements please contact 01467 623770.

Storage Charges

  • Storage Charges will be implemented by 1st November 2024 and apply to all customers except by prior arrangement.
  • £50 per large item per month
  • £20 per small item per month
  • Storage charges will apply to both sold and unsold items that are not collected by confirmed date.
  • Sold items must be collected within 5 working days following date of sale.
  • Any Unsold items must be collected by date agreed with member of staff.

Opening Times

For any enquiries, entries or to settle your transactions, our main office is located within the Thainstone Centre and is open Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm.
